Theresa Gaffney is a reporter and multimedia producer living in Astoria, NY.  She recently completed her MA in journalism at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and now produces podcasts on contract for STAT.

Before journalism, Theresa was a book publicist at Penguin Random House.  She graduated from Brandeis University where she technically studied English Literature and Creative Writing, but spent most of her time studying the bottom of the pool while training with the swim team.  She's a lifelong, card-carrying member of the clean plate club.
